    Hey guys,

I'm almost finished with the sandpapering but I have some issues here. I have these bad spots on the helmet and I don't know how to get rid of them. I don't know...maybe you guys can help me?.

    here's a picture of what I mean:

    and some other pictures:

    ( I had to photoshop a visor xD. )

Bondo glazing putty.... it's red comes in a tube at auto parts stores about $8 a tube. After you fill in the pits, use a REALLY fine sandpaper to sand the glazing putty. Just went through the same thing myself.

Other than the spot problems, nice helmet! I hope mine comes out that good. But as the person above said, bondo is your best choice. Good luck.

How far along are you? This pic is after 2 coats of bondo, 3 coats of glazing putty. Just primed it (again and notice more things I want to smooth out). Going to do one final touch up with the glazing putty, prime, paint, and then start working on the visor. What are you using for your visor by the way?

not far to be honest. I just fixed some spots and will continue later.

remember: that's not a real visor on the picture that I've posted .

I bought tinted acrylic glass for the visor.

I added the first layer of paint. I'll have to wait untill everything is dry before I can paint it in chrome.

Helmet looks very good. Your work area on the other hand is way to organized. You need to scatter things about more so that it looks like you have been working hard.
