18th Oct 2010, 08:34 #16Please do! I've been holding out on commenting until could see it higher resolution with the paper actually flat. In the meantime I can say for certain that you're extremely good at blending colours. Assuming the other drawings aren't based off photos, then you're good with light placement as well. I'm an artist/designer too so I'm not as quite as quick to praise but I like what I see so far.

you use a grid system for enlarging, don't you?
with DP, i think your figures are great (though Thomas's mouth and left hand seem a bit wonky) but your background could benefit from more uniform strokes. they get to be a little crazy in terms of direction on the right. i like how the direction is for the most part the same/similar on the left, but maybe work on blending between grid squares a little?
i think your texture on the clothing, however, especially on Thomas's jacket is awesome!
overall i think you're really good at modulating colors. i like how you did it kind of sketchily on the walls in the Last Supper/Star Wars picture, as well as and more smoothly with the paint on the surface of the Earth.
i would suggest maybe working on faces a bit more if that's something you're interested in pursuing further; in the Star Wars piece, the faces seem to be defined more by lines, whereas it would probably look more natural if it was more shaded than lines. (this is especially the case with noses and lips as i've learned/heard in a brief figure drawing workshop i was in once.)
