I was really, really tempted to make the name of this post something like "OMG surprise Daft Punk performance!" but the actual name I gave this post speaks for itself. This is so awful and ridiculous I can't stop watching it! Friggin' hilarious!

They probably are like a tribute duo or something, because it's pretty obvious they didn't even try to make the helmets look somewhat real.

They're dressed up in the tron suits with the light bike helmets I think, look at their clothes and helmets in comparison to that poster they zoom in on.

Agreed. Obviously it is a tribute band which is kind of cool, but I'm assuming that whoever posted the video is not who organized this event and since they titled the video "Daft Punk live" it is pretty funny that they and/or some of the people posting comments may have thought this is the real thing. Now that is what's funny.
