No, if you read between the lines he basically says they're booked to play next year but not at Bestival. The festival he speaks of is Wireless.

meh.. idk man, I think that he just did the second announcement to avoid problems with whining ppl when DP would actually be at concerts next year in the UK. I hope that I'm wrong tho.. because that might mean a world tour!!

edit: was it the same before daft punk started to tour in 2006/2007 on the internet? all those speculations and rumours but no solit facts?

Daft punk has now been removed from the line-up list for Rock Ness at http://www.efestivals.co.uk/festival...1/lineup.shtml

But, DP is still having a 'rumour' status for Wireless at http://www.efestivals.co.uk/festival.../lineup.shtml#

but idk... DP would've already announced officially that they'd be coming to Wireless by now if it's true, right?... Even for DP it's kinda late already, right?

The Wireless website is saying they are not announcing any other headliners until the new year.... It's not specific on the when in the new year, so we'll just gonna have to wait and see, on that one...

If they play Wireless then I'm going to be all over that. Hopefully if they do tour they will add a few extra dates around any festival dates instead of just festivals because that will make it easier for fans to get tickets.

I was expecting Deadmau5 to be making an appearance but it makes sense for The Chemical Brothers to do it.
