That'd be absolutely amazing if they did. They deserve every bit of it-- plus, classical, orchestral music isn't their forte, and yet they've created something so beautiful from it.

Ah, Oscars, yeah they're one of the few that use the actual calender year. Long as it premiers in LA, and it did before the end of December so we're good. lol

I really think this soundtrack should get nominated.
Imagine if it wasn't Daft Punk that made this soundtrack. It still would've gotten high ratings and great reviews because it's original, unique, catchy, yet moody, and fits the movie well.

And yeah, I would think that it would either have to get pushed 'til next year or something since the Oscars are coming up soon...
