Does anybody NOT care about the Tron; Legacy OST??

I mean, I LOVE DAFT PUNK, but i dont see the big deal.

It's a very generic OST with some Daft Punk sounds in it. I don't care much for it either.

To be perfectly honest, I'm more of a Tron fan than I am a Daft Punk fan. I care more about the movie than I do the soundtrack, bahaha! Still do care about it though, although I was more interested in it before I heard it. In conjunction with the movie though it sounded really good.

It was made to go with the movie. Whether or not anybody likes it by itself doesn't really matter I think. lol

i would say i'm probably not as hyped about it as other users, though i do enjoy/like/"care" about it.

like you know, it's a soundtrack so it's kind of got to be subdued a bit so as not to take too much away from the rest of the stuff onscreen.

anyway, yeah i don't blame you for not frothing at the mouth over it. lol

Well, I have to admit that I was a teeny bit excited, but I'll only go nuts if they release an album/ go on tour. However, the only reason I'm going to go and see Tron is because of the soundtrack... so with me, I'm kinda half excited/half not, if I'm making any sense :P

Exactly my opinion.
Obviously I'm more of a Daft Punk fan than I am of Tron, so I cared a lot that they were going to experiment on something they've never done before; working with a full-blown orchestra for a movie soundtrack. They created something extraordinary, in my opinion.

But I can totally understand why you might not care about it. For me, I was just really excited that they were going to finally release something.
