Afrojack makes Daft Punk-themed song!
22nd Feb 2011, 06:07 #1There's a song titled "Daft Sound" off Afrojack's debut album, Lost & Found.
It has a dirty Electro bassline, as well as what seems to be a Human After All sample.
It's a cool track, I like it.
And if you don't know who Afrojack is...
Basically he's a producer/DJ who's blowing up right now.
He debuted at #19 on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list just recently.
He helped make the Dirty Dutch House style of music very popular.
And you may have heard his single "Take Over Control (feat. Eva Simons)

22nd Feb 2011, 07:00 #3Hahaha. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
I just hate him being compared to everybody,
and how dumb and clueless 90% of his fans are.
And I also think he's generally overrated,
but a statement like "Deadmau5 sucks" is ignorant.
Anyways...... Back to the thread topic, hahaha.
Pretty neat song we got here.

The only thing that actually sounds DP is the obvious Human After All sample.

22nd Feb 2011, 18:36 #6Why is everything classified as "original mix"? If it's a remix, call it "[Song Title] ([x] Remix)", if it's not, just call it "[Song Title]". People will get that it's not a remix.

22nd Feb 2011, 20:41 #8Not feeling it I've got to be honest, it doesn't even sound that daft, the bass sounds much more like Deadmau5, in fact most of the track sounds like deadmau5.

Sleeping is giving in, no matter what the time is,
Sleeping is giving in, so lift those heavy eyelids.
Re: Afrojack makes Daft Punk-themed song!
22nd Feb 2011, 20:52 #10Imho, when a track has "Original Mix" in the title, it's because it's the original edit of the song, as in, it's not the cut-down version for the radio. Just fyi.
Yeah, I know who he is. My sister and I laugh every time we hear Eva speak gibberish in a deep voice before the drop, it's lolarious.
As for the track......
