    Re: Requesting a show?

Request to their manager is probably your best bet, though your request would probably be more successful if you had a venue express interest in a show.

Alive2011, you're kinda being a troll today. wtf

    Re: Requesting a show?

Just so you know - you will also need to prepare a few hundred thousand dollars.

If you contact Daft Punk on the behalf of a festival without the festivals consent or as part of the festivals management you'll probably get sued for fraud.

To book your own Daft Punk show, have alot of money ready, book the venue (more money), license a ticketing company (money), apply for a license from your local council to host a large event (money) and sign the health and safety contract (money and more money for insurance), pending inspection to ensure that your event will be safe. Then book Daft Punk and their road crew the flights and accomodation to make it nice and painless for them and hire a security team. (money money money money money!)

I could go on and on.

    You stand no chance kiddo

I'm fairly certain there's a difference between 'request' and 'booking an event'.

However he's right. Seriously, you need to have money and credibility behind you along with its resources if you actually want a show to happen.
