    Daft Punk in new Armani ad

    Remove this ad: become a supporter
    has anyone noticed this? A Daft Punk track in an advert for Armani. I think it's been a while since a daft punk track was used in an ad

    So do you think armani just thought the song was appropriate or do you think they want to attract some attention using Daft Punk?

    Well both. Though I doubt that many realise it's a Daft Punk track. I thought it matched the visuals well

    It is all about how well the song fits the advert me thinks and plus if they wanted to get attention for using Daft Punk they wouldn't have used Encom Pt 1 seeing as only those who bought the special edition would possibly know it so that is a very small number of people really.

    I saw the commercial a day ago, always nice to see they chose music from Daft Punk. Says alot if you figer they could have chosen alot other jingles for it.

    The song fits the commercial well enough. I just haven't seen it on TV.
    I suppose most viewers won't recognize the song, though. >_>
