madeon is the reason i started looking into producing house music; after years of being caught up in playing guitar in bands.
it's pretty weird watching that video; and then watching, hearing and reading of his festival shows, and support acts, and his rising skill as a dj.
although, i am far from shocked about how successful he became, he was due for it.

I've been looking/waiting for a name or release date for this song since he played it at BBC radio 1's live lounge. It's quite good. He's used it as his intro track at some gigs.

EDIT: just had a listen to it there, and I swear I could have heard vocals from an Empire of the Sun song. Doubtful, though, cos the singer has a different accent.

he generally mixes the track with an acapella of another; he tends to go for a bit of a "mash-up" approach to his mixes. i'm not sure how much of a normality this may be, but it's the first i've heard a dj make use of that technique (apart from mash-up dj's of course).

he's used empire of the sun on occasion, but i've heard the other acapella (in reference to the video jsaid001 posted) used more with this track.

from what i've heard, the twelves are brilliant. i can't say i've made an intense following of their music, but i've got a few remixes of theirs on my ipod (starting with their two door cinema club remix). i should actually look into them a little more; i'm not quite sure why i haven't yet.

I agree, i honestly feel like Madeon is the new Discovey era Daft Punk. Also i'm quite lucky coz Madeon is really popular around my school.
