Re: Daft Club - The 4th Album [Fan Project]
19th Dec 2011, 22:40 #241If you want a realistic 4th Album, then wait until Daft Punk releases their 4th album. I'd like to stress that I have made it a point to try not to influence the style of tracks people make for this album, I have left feedback and advice for how to help accentuate the style the participants were going for, but I have not told everyone "Hey make a Discovery type track!" People just kind of did that on their own. Also listening to all the tracks one after another this album doesn't really remind me of Discovery that much, it sounds just like a crazy mishmash of everything from Homework to HAA, with a little more Discovery in it then anything else. Does it sound like what Daft Punk's fourth album will sound like? No, probably not, but the track's do all sound like Daft Punk music, 4th Album or not, I think that's pretty awesome.

20th Dec 2011, 18:47 #244so i decided i will try to do a short interlude in the style of Sebastien Tellier's album Sexuality (keep in mind that the album was produced by Guy-Man, and a lot of the songs sound in the vein of Make Love from Human After All).

5th Jan 2012, 05:54 #250Oh man everyone's been busy I suppose. Well I have a final mix of forward, but the the original never got much commentary so I had to make some changes is it okay if I still upload the new one? I also have another song in the works that is more house based.
"In the early '90s, Daft Punk performed a self-styled synthesis of acid house, funk and big beat electronica at illegal warehouse parties in France that "you had to crawl under barbed wire and run from police" to attend, as Bangalter recalled.
