Re: Daft Punk Survivor: Homework
13th Nov 2011, 07:32 #21Hero Robot got in first so for the sake of continuing I'm gonna end the round on his post and the two after that will go to the next round. Because I see that tie continuing for a while at this rate.

Here's the votes:
Daftendirekt
Revolution 909 - 1
Da Funk
Phœnix - 2
Fresh - 1
Around the World
Rollin' & Scratchin'
Teachers
High Fidelity - 3
Rock'n Roll
Oh Yeah -1
Burnin' -1
Indo Silver Club
Alive - 1
High Fidelity is eliminated.
The list now is:
Daftendirekt
Revolution 909
Da Funk
Phœnix
Fresh
Around the World
Rollin' & Scratchin'
Teachers
Rock'n Roll
Oh Yeah
Burnin'
Indo Silver Club
Alive
Still voting for Oh Yeah.
Begin Round 2
*NOTE* Anybody can join in at anytime, you didn't have to vote in round one to vote in any other rounds. Also if your song didn't get eliminated and you wanna vote for it again just post and re tell me or let me know that it's the same as last round, otherwise I won't count it.
Would it? I mean the votes are different for each round, and people are allowed to change their votes if they absolutely have to, so I didn't think that a one time, non-changeable poll would be useful. This isn't just to vote to see which song is the most popular it's more of a fun game that takes a while.

Re: Daft Punk Survivor: Homework
13th Nov 2011, 07:50 #23you should be able to edit the polls.
(i just tested this in a development forum, but i'm not sure if i can edit only because i'm an admin or not. i believe everyone should be able to edit their own polls, though...)
so you can set up the poll for round 2, and set it to automatically close within a certain time period, and then when you want to start round 3, edit the poll to make a "new" one, and clear the votes from the previous round.
but the point was also made that there are only 10 options allowed, so perhaps wait until the fourth round or something? idk i think having a poll makes it a lot easier to calculate votes, and people are more likely to vote if all they have to do is tic a box. lol but that's my opinion.

Re: Daft Punk Survivor: Homework
13th Nov 2011, 09:23 #26Oh, well that'd be awesome if I really can use it that way, thanks for letting me know!
Course the limit is 10 so yeah we'll have to wait a few rounds before we can even implement it. lol
Yeah or just post and tell me it's the same as last round. At least until we get it down enough to do the poll thingy. lolLast edited by Mr. Referee; 13th Nov 2011 at 09:28.
