    Sure, but I doubt that they have a problem with silliness. Human After All was a pretty serious album. Tron was serious. But I think their next album will be more fun and uplifting like their early work, so it wouldn't surprise me if they returned to something similar to the Discovery helmets.

    Keep in mind that if you want glowy helmets in a a live show, that they need to be able to see out of them.

    This. Imagine doing a 75 minute show in full leather attire, elbow gloves, a neck covering, a tight helmet with a tinted visor and electronics an inch away from your eyeballs. Sounds like fun!

    I seriously hope that their new album is more fun and silly. I mean, HAA and T:L were both really good, but I much prefer the fun-ness of Homework and Discovery. Those first two albums (and all the remixes released around that period) are just so fun to listen to; they have a lot of life! I really wish they'd go back to the feel (not necessarily style, though I do personally prefer the Homework and Discovery styles). It seems that Nile Rodgers' involvement shows that they *are* going a more fun route this time, since he's pretty much the king of fun disco.
