    The Chrome shop thread

Remove this ad: become a supporter
    In here we discuss:

    1. do's and do nots before you send your helmet to a shop
    2. what your results were
    3. names of good shops and prices.

The most common place to get these helmets chromed, creations n' chrome, is now charging $350.00 for chrome. Personally, I find it outrageous.

This is who i am using... Was quoted $286.00 AUD for an electroplate finish... apparently better and much more resilient finish that vacuum materialising.
