Well considering the number of different entries I've seen for the same name in Discogs I'd say you're in the clear so long as there isn't any immediate association of the name with someone else.

As long as it isn't somebody's main name or a really recognizable brand, then you should be okay. Of course, you should probably look to see if anybody's trademarked it.

You'd get in trouble for using Daft Punk as that is synonymous with a brand, as is something like the Chemical Brothers (who originally used the name "The Dust Brothers" but got in "trouble" for it since another pair of DJs were using it). If the name is trademarked, then you can get in "trouble" for it - though usually names like "Justice" can't be trademarked because of their simplicity and unoriginality (e.g. I can't trademark "Band").

I would worry more about the jacket brand then any other band using it. It should be fine though
