The little crevasse around the ears, Did you just carve that out with a dremel or some tool?

I cut it out with a dremel and this 1/8" ball tipped bit: http://www.forneyind.com/...carbide_burr_sd-42/
I dont think Its actually a dremel bit, but It fits and works fine. I got It at ace hardware an aisle away from the dremel stuff

    Being creative is fun kids.

Well yeah baisacally what Crank said, a hybrid helmet.
But however, you can personally customize it, it dosen't have to exactly look like Guy-Man's helmet but you can change the color. (Add neon lights around, diffrent colour outline, etc.)
Its going to be your own fantasy era. Heehee.

I know! Im excited, I dont even know about painting it gold anymore after I painted it with black primer and realised the encore-izing it would be awesome! In all likeliness, It'll change colors quite a few times. In fact, I would eventually like to experiment with pre-tinting the pet-g with gold mirror tint then vacuum forming it

Re: My first attempt attempt at a helmet (In progress [Guy-Manuel])

    Haha nice !

Im just going to throw up an idea all over this little writting box thing right now heehee .

What I imagined you can do (for the look obviously), is to make some kind of drawing, logo, signature, desing etc. Around it, like some kind of art work .
Of course its going to take some time and everything.
I also thought about the fiber glass, IF its available in different tinted glass i'd suggest making the glass part detachable/undetachable (English isn't my first language, many things in spanish are mixed meanings) and switch every few days/weeks the glass color.

I want to make a helmet now, thanks alot heehee xD.
