    Re: Krazy Baldhead

I kept postponing to write my impression of the album.

I've listened to it fully for at least 10 times now. First I was a bit dissapointed because I've read somewhere that Surabaya Girl was the least "dancey" song of the album... And when the album came out I found out the other songs weren't really "dancey" after all. Nonetheless I really like the album. It's so refreshing. So far my favorite song is Ressurection, while Castles & Clouds reminds of Windowlicker by Aphex Twin lol.

Anyway, my conclusion is that it's a really really nice album. This nice just seems fitting unlike great or good.

listened to it 3 times now. imo there are def good songs, a couple great songs but yeah. it's a cool album and i like it. i think it would be inconsequential to how good the album is if the track list looked like:

    1. the noise in the sky
    2. surabaya girl
    3. day in, day out
    4. alexander platz
    5. must there be an angel?
    6. slow motion
    7. a child is born

i like the obscurity of 'castle & clouds' but i wouldn't miss the rest. mehh. maybe they'll shed new light as i listen to the album more.

on another note, there are tracks on this album that are just begging for some big name remixes! like 'day in, day out' is asking for danger and kavinsky remixes. god how awesome would a danger remix be?! i could also see dubstep and trance/techno remixes of 'must there be an angel?' (i freaking love the song). the lonesome piano on 'castle & clouds' reminds me of justice's 'planisphere' or sebastian's 'paris four hundred' remix; a drum and bass remix could happen also. para one could be all over this album too imo.

I also finished listening for i think the 3rd time yesterday and i definately like the album. I think that his first album still has the edge on this one, but they are both great albums! And i can certainly hear a kind of style shift to this album which is always good.

After viewing it once, I would describe it weird, in a GOOD way.

the EP is pretty good. live version sounds like the original plus a little bit of Seb!
