Daft Punk to collaborate with Nile Rodgers on their 4th studio album

Look at T-Bangs solo work... Its much harder and more agressiv then Discovery (another really Guyman inspired album) was. HAA was really minimalistic and hard again, which is a sign for being more in thomas' mind...

I think they can both vary their styles. Listen to On Da Rocks and Club Soda by Thomas, and Kavinsky's Nightcall produced by Guy-Man. Now it's Guy being minimalistic and hard and Thomas who's the funky one. And listen to the Tron soundtrack, which is neither hard/minimalistic or funky. I believe that they both appreciate the different styles, and that both are capable of making music like that. So even if this next album turns out to be what could be called "Guy-style" I believe that it is as much Thomas' music.

Tron soundtrack does not really count... Its a soundtrack, so yeah. And sure its allways a combination of both styles, i was only aiming for giving some idea of how the next album will sound like. Even if i think that it will be neither like Discovery nor like HAA or Homework... They are Daft Punk, they did not release an album for about 6 years. Does anybody really expect them to come out with vocoders and French House again?

Well, I liked all the albums, i have a great appreciation for discovery though (since it was the first time i had heard daft punk). HAA was definitely there worst album though. I like the TRON soundtrack though. If they make something new and fresh (which Daft Punk always does) than i dont care what style it is as long as it is interesting and its new daft punk.
