Re: Top 5 Moustaches in History Announced5th Mar 2012, 09:03 #39
Well guys nominations are now closed for the greatest moustache in history. There have been some great images but unfortunately there can be only 1 Top 5 and here they are:
5. Robert DiPierdomenico (The Big Dipper)
What an iconic legend of Australian Rules Football and what a stash!
Famous for playing out a Grand Final with broken ribs and a pierced lung while still managing to inspire his team to victory.
And his name. Wow.
4. Adolphus Hitler
Often over-shadowed by his slightly more famous brother, Adolphus still managed to sport the most iconic piece of facial hair in the history of the universe.
Few have managed to create a look so legendary that no one has been brave enough to mimic it since.
3. Eddie Murphy
Just look at that moustache. Look at its beauty. Look at that fine texture and the spray paint effect it has created. Look at its colour the most midnight black of blacks.
This moustache is the meaning of life my friends. My one true love.
Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the unworthy wearer of this masterpiece.
A semi-decent actor at first. If only a bomb could have been dropped on the solar system at the turn of the 21st century and saved us all from the horror to unfold.
The days after viewing *shudder* "Meet Dave" *shudder* were the closest I have ever come to suicide.
This moustache is, in the words of Shakespeare, "my only love sprung from my only hate"
A comical genius. 100x better than anything Bruno served up.
A true humanitarian. Made the world a better place. Deserves a Nobel Prize.
A legend with a magnificent stache.
This photo proves beyond doubt that beauty can be found in the most foul and cruel of places. What these photo means to mankind cannot be expressed through words but through emotion and quite possibly interpretive dance.
What magnificent colour and craftsmanship flows through the pixels of this rectangle.
This moustache is without a doubt the reason we get up each morning.
And to think it was here on the club all along.
