    Headphone Help

Hey Daft Club. I have been wanting to get a pair of proper over the ear headphones for quite a while now, but I don't really know much about them. From my time spent lurking around I know that a lot of you guys have tech and musical knowledge, so I was wondering if you had any advice on what a good purchase would be.

I don't produce or DJ or anything like that, so I don't want anything that high tech (not that I could afford it anyway), just something that will get me a good quality of sound

I'm looking for something in the region of £30-£50/$45-$80. If I'm an idiot to think I can get high quality for that price then let me know.
Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks

This might be a bit much but I just bought my 2nd pair of audio technic a ath-m50 headphones for less than US $100. They are monitoring headphones which might not be what you are looking for but their sound is pretty good considering the retail value is $250

    I second this: get ath-m50's.

Same here, but for a "nomad" use... What do you guys have got to listen to music in the subway or in the street?

    Sennheiser CX-400 II.
They are in ear, noise isolating earphones. They have really good quality sound, and really good noise isolation, considering they are earbuds. And i bought mine for about $50 online, and take into consideration that everything costs more, even online, in australia.

    Dang, I paid $150 for mine :/

But yeah, these headphones are solid. They say they are moniter headphones, but the sound is not even CLOSE to flat. They are a bit big, but I've been really pleased with mine!

I have fun short mixes that you will probably like right here

    Re: Headphone Help

Thanks for the responses guys. However, I think that the Audio Technicas are a bit out of my budget, and probably more than I'm looking for. I am thinking of going for the Sennheiser HD 202s if anybody knows about them. The reviews seem to be quite good for the price.

Lol I got a broken pair of those from my friend today and fixed em up! For $30, probably the best I've heard in that range in a while. Depending on what you do with em, they're not bad.
