Well, why not book them ourselves?!

I mean, together we are a small army of daft punkers. If we organize ourselves and save up money together, we can have our own party.

This is so stupid..If there's one thing Daft Punk have taught us over the years it's that they aren't the type of people who tour every year and put out an album every second. They put a LOT of effort into their live shows, and I can gaurantee you the next time they play they will blow our minds. They're working on an album now, too. It's not like they can just say 'Hey, let's play live!'. When they create a live show, it's like a whole new album. Alive 2007 showed us that. Half of it was completely original material made just for the show!

So yeah..I think they know everyone desperately wants to see them live. They just want to make sure when they do appear again, it's something to remember.
They aren't going to go and be deadmau5 and put their tracks into ableton, split it into six tracks and press beat repeat every few minutes and call it a live performance. Sorry mau5, I love you to death, but that's just ****ty DJing.
Anyway I'm getting away from the point. Basically, don't bother.

anyhow, i did not say anything about a show like they did in 2007.

I would love to see them preform like they used to do. As DJ's. Behind the turntable mixing and scratching the records.

Just saying that even if you were to shelve enough cash, they might deny. Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't they offered a lot for Coachella and still denied?

Backing on what something awesome said, I think waiting a bit wouldn't hurt, I'm pretty sure it'll be very well worth it.
Plus allowing them to release their album before going live gives them the opportunity to incorporate the new tracks in the live set!
