New find about Guy Man's HAA helmet

I always thought there was something we were missing about guy manuel's HAA helmet. I figured it out.

For the past 6 years, we have been under the impression that Guy's visor on his HAA helmet was secured from the outside, making a seamless connection between the frame and the visor. I now believe otherwise, and It all came from this photo.

( Link for a huge pic)

If you look at the very front of the chin, you'll notice that the visor is actually coming from the inside. Notice the flow of the curve is interrupted. If I could speculate, Guy's helmet has a lip on the inside of the frame all the way around that secures the visor, kind of like the way helmet makers do the lip for Thomas Bangalter's helmet. We know that Guy's visor is made out of of a thick acrylic plastic, so it would only make structural sense to secure it from the inside.

    Well....That's it.

Yeah, I always thought that setting it from the outside was a bad idea, so I always have had my suspicions.

    Necro post!

How would you think of attaching it from the inside? I am going to make my rainbow fans be attached via magnets that clamp (inspired from a build on the RPF).

    What do you think?
Remember, only Imperial Stormtroopers are so precise... and many Bothans died to bring you this post! www.facebook.com/9336industries
