Cheap glove alternative?

Hey guys I need to get some daft punk gloves before the end of may, and I am wondering if there are any alternatives that I can spend 150$ or less on.

if you go to homedepot, you can but PVC pipe, just get the diameter of your finger by seeing how it fits in the tube, as for the top plate, they sell plastic lids near the pipes, you can just cut out the shape you need. as for the pipe, cut it in half horizontally so you have 2 long pieces. how set the cut half over your finger and draw out the plate shapes with sharpie, do this with all your fingers and cut them out, sand em and either spray paint them, chrome them, or get that chrome vinyl off of ebay and stick it on their.
I did this method a long time ago and it ended up costing me like $12.
or you can do the cardboard method, same but with cardboard, but I would not recommend it...

I used: Cereal box card, scissors, and lots of pritt stick, and it worked for me. Extreme patience required.

Pvc pipe is the way to go...

Definitely PVC. I chose that route. Just a couple hours with your dremel and some sandpaper and you got pieces!

as soon as I put on the gloves I got from someone on here, it didn't matter how amazing they were if I can't use my phone with them on. there's lots of pics with DP using mac laptops with their gloves on, so theirs had to be 'touch tech'(can use touch screen technology with them on). I might just put a small hole in the tips of my fingers for now.

my plan in the future is to make gloves that are both touch screen sensitive and can switch off between being fingerless and not.
