Just got my Volpin Thomas cast today! This baby's gonna get some tender love and care over the next couple of weeks.

1. Trim visor, ears , nose and mouth holes. Create lip for the visor

2. Spot putty any imperfections and cut the visor from some PETG

3. Sand, sand, sand, sand, sand.

4. Chroming!

Electronics will come at a later date, I'm trying to get this done for mid June!

funnily enough I got a cast through today, not a Volpin one though of course. Good luck with it look forward to the progress.

Ooooo a Volpin cast, been wanting one of those for a while! Looks like an older one though, cause the new ones are slushed with black ONYX resin. Anyway, good luck with your build man!

No,a guy on the RPf ( not volpin ) had one listed in the junkyard. I was going to buy it but I backed out.

Visor cut out (will be sanded and grinded down) , ears trimmed, nose holes and mouth holes cut out. Time to spot putty this baby!
