Three Point feat. Fundave - New Message (Album)
20th Jun 2012, 09:29 #1Hey! If you've been here for a little bit you know I'm in a creepy electro house thing.
And we make music.
So, we made an album.

Here it is. http://soundcloud.com/three-point-of...ge-album-free/
Featuring Fundave on track 1!
This was a whole year's work, making, playing, recording, organizing etc, so don't bag it out too much, but any feedback?

Re: Three Point feat. Fundave - New Message (Album)
20th Jun 2012, 16:26 #2There we go with a little "live review" (Wrote it while the first listen :P)
Engergie (ft. Fundave) -> Intressting intro with all there glitchy noises and the slowly rising bassline. This is what like about the whole Track. Also a nice little riser in the middle of the track. The last part might
be a bit messed, but its fine! Good way to start!
Glitch -> Okay, Album starts, there we go! After the pretty agressive intro a much slower song, still having a dark feeling about it. Actually it reminds be a bit to the Tron: Legacy OST (maybe because of the arp
). The Drums fit pretty well with the synth, the Vocodered stuff later in the Song is amazing. The whole Track sounds like a huge buildup, which is pretty nice, but a break/drop (yea i know, 'drop' is a horrible word but i think you know what i mean) would have fitted pretty nice!
Like This -> This Track actually reminds me to something but i cant remember but i cant remember what haha. Good job, the synth is really well done, the "vocals" might be a bit to much paned to the left.
Nothing Stops (Prelude) -> Every Album needs an interlude/prelude! haha. Well yea, nice melody and a good introduction for the next Track, but some more Synths or small samples (like in the intro of "Energie"!) could have made it a bit more "saying" or powerfull.
Return -> Amazing introduction with the Piano like synth and the bassline. Its definitly one of the "main-Tracks" of this Album. Really powerfull Drums and Strings. One of my favourites, even if its a less Electronic Song.
The Surrealist -> A more minimalistic Track, but really enjoyable. Got some mixture of chillout/minimal and siriusmo (lol you can compare siriusmo to EVERYTHING haha). Nice one!
Game Over -> Okay, this siriusly sounds like siriusmo. My personal favourite Track from this Release. Everything after 2:00 is insane. Yea, this is pretty much depending on my personal taste, but its also well produced! (Maybe a BIT too much in the end, but well...)
So first of all a little comment: I tried to figure out something to critize at every Track to make this feedback usefull. If there is a bit to much pan here or a small other thing there: Don't take it too sirious
The whole Album
All in all i really like what you did there. Going from a harder, more electronic Intro into more laid back and downbeated areas, going back to electro stuff in the End. Its an amazing first release, thats to be said. There are some different genres covered here and the whole Album got some unique sound on it (which is pretty important in my opinion).
I hope this was at least a bit usefull. Keep it up Guys!

21st Jun 2012, 08:06 #3Thanks! I agree with pretty much everything you said there, especially about Nothing Stops. I originally envisioned that to be a kind of transition from the more jumpey electro intro but yeah, shoulda been more fleshed out.

27th Jun 2012, 16:35 #7Loving your album, sir!
Congrats! I think my favorites are Energie, Glitch and Game Over.
Energie reminds me of "Sweet Dreams" for some reason. Maybe it's the synth.
If you're curious...
Energie: Lots of white blocks for the digital noises, white & gray background. Purple & navy blue synth line (looks like Minecraft blocks hanging from the ceiling. Wat.) Orange and yellow diagonal shape for the high-pitched noise (1:57-1:58). Drums produce a circular black shape that pulses in time to the beat.
Glitch: Gray and purple background with a bit of black, and your voice is silver and blocky.
Game Over: Vertical black/white/gray "thick sound lines" for the guitars and white, green, and orange sqiggles that look like electricity for the electric sounds.Last edited by CherieD'Amoure; 27th Jun 2012 at 16:42.

27th Jun 2012, 21:36 #8Nice job guys! All the tracks were really good. "Like This" was probably one of my favorites, though I think "Game Over" was by far the best track.
If I had one criticism, I'd suggest giving your drums a little more punch. It's a personal preference thing I guess, but I like kick drums that have a nice bassy punch to them.
