O_O Oh...my...god... This sound f*cking amazing, man. It seriously sounds professionally made. Tell your friend that he made an absolutely amazing remix and to keep doing this cos I've played this about three times now and it still sounds amazing. That's proof that your friend has some serious talent.

very nice remix, i enjoyed it quite a lot.
my only issue with it, was the part on 2:00.
i feel like that part had too much happening to have a vocal track over the top (don't get me wrong, the pattern sounded brilliant afterwards, when the solo came in).
it may just be a matter of taste though, so i dunno, haha.

i followed him on soundcloud; he definitely has potential.
