Did Daft Punk ever really deny One More Time sample?

This has been bugging me for awhile. On Wikipedia it claims Daft denied claims One More Time contains samples. Well..it does. I remember awhile back finding the source of the statement and it was some really old article on a music site that had no source. So..Does anyone know if they actually said this? I kinda doubt its true but..negh.

Although it's pretty obvious the sample's there, hehe.

I'm pretty sure the actyal quote was Thomas saying that all samples that had been used was credited and used with permission, which is obviously not true, but they probably said to avoid legal mumbo jumbo, and to avoid questions about it and accusations of bot being 'real' musicians seeing as more than half the album tracks are based on samples.

I saw this video a while back where this guy breaks down "More Spell On You" and uses samples to recreate One More Time. Surely they took the samples from this song! It's too close not to be true.



Even if they did deny it I think they have some explaining to do...

Oh no, it's defintely there. You can hear it perfectly in the break down section of the One More Time club mix. I'll find the wiki source..All it said though was something like 'however, Daft Punk have denied samples are in the track". They didn't quote anything or source anyone though.
