i think it's pretty cool that you're using virtual dj for this sort of thing.
obviously, it would have its restrictions, but at the same time i don't know much about dj-ing and whatnot.
i bet it's a much more exciting creative process than mine.
i just sit here and click, hahaha.

Not bad! But maybe a bit too repetitive but I think its difficult to add some synths etc if your working with virtual dj.

i guess, you could loop the sample and tweak eq settings, using virtual dj, and play the synths or any other instruments live.
while it wouldn't be the most unique thing (then again, you're kinda trying to emulate lkc, so uniqueness isn't much of a priority at present), it'd be a pretty cool approach.
it would go well at shows, if you were to do them, since you have your live elements alongside the standard dj approach.
