Daft Club Megamix

Hello everyone! Welcome to the thread for the TDC megamix! I am (with help, of course) organizing a project so that people that are maybe new to the daft club, are wondering about what kind of musicians we are, or if we just want something to show-off our musical talents (That I know so many of you have ) they could have a neat little taste of it all compiled into a mix.

So what I am looking for from you guys is original music and/or remixes of daft punk songs. We also need people to do the actual megamix, depending on how many djs are willing to do it, it could be in parts with different effects over each one, then those mixed and blended smoothly with each other, so that we can get the maximum amount of people involved in this.

Oh and, I created a group on soundcloud that will be the central hub for posting your tracks. There are quite a bit of tracks on here, so we would of course, have to narrow it down to the best ones, and if possible, try not to put too many of your songs on there, we just want you posting what you think to be your absolute best and a showcase of your talents. http://soundcloud.com/groups/the-daft-club-megamix

Good idea! That could be a fun way to easily get a quick listen to everyones work!

I have some questions though:
Who would mix it?

Who would choose the tracks/artists to be featured? Would the one mixing choose tracks or would everyone submit one or two tracks that they think represent what they do?

I love the idea! Would it just include snippets of each song like you'd normally hear in a megamix? Or will it simply be one song after another with cross-fading between them?

Not confused, per se, just uninformed. It sounds exciting and I'd like to hear more details on the matter!
