back when daft punk became what they are today... how did they even think of their awesome helmets. they could have never changed like switching to helmets without lights. they could have stidd had the lights in their helmets today.. they could have chosen something else right? and the helmets where made to fit their faces, so how did they think of the design of their helmets? and for the lights in the helmets... how did they have the ideah for lights.

post what you think... ig guess but i really want to know how they thought of their helmets. they could have made a different design. and why do they look so different.

I'm pretty sure most of the design ideas came from Alterian during construction of them. They changed helmets to match the tone of music in Human After All, simpler and darker. Also cause it's much much easier to see and move around without the lights being in there.

oh ok whell how does the science fiction thing have anything to do with this? did they see helmets like that from a sci fi movie or magazine?

adidas made a parody of the Star Wars bar scene, and Daft Punk was in it, i think Luke was sitting with them and asked if they knew what the Millenium Falcon was, and they didn't know what is was

You said Luke asked them if they knew what the Millenium falcon was, and In Episode 4, released in 1997, during the cantina scene on Tatooine, HAN SOLO asked that....Not Luke Skywalker.

It's from the Adidas Star Wars commercial DP was in. Since Crank said "in a galaxy far away" it made me think of Star Wars, then they were in that commercial, I googled it, relevant pic, etc etc, yeah yeah yeah.

And also it was Han Solo asking them. HAN SOLO. I only remember cause I was a bit of a Star Wars nut when I was like 7......... lightsabers errywhere..............

Anyway we're getting off topic. Back to the helmet discussion!
