Hey all, so I have a question, What is the best choice for tinting a Thomas visor? I have tried 2 of those wet the visor and rub on the tint, and well...that stuff is $#17 to be honest...what do you guys recommend?

    You could try automotive tint.

Why is the RIT dye method not working. I have always had great success with it.

    Re: Tinting

my 2 attempts were kind of a bust. I got the tinting down, but once I dipped it in cold water it somewhat warped

What type of automotive tinting do you guys reccomend, and how do you do it, just basicly like a spray paint?

well you can get VHT niteshades
also limo tint, it comes in large sheets but its not too forgiving, nor is the niteshades

    Re: Tinting

So far, I've done the VHT Niteshades method (which is great, but gives you slightly blurry vision), and the stick-on car tint, which gives you perfect vision, but is an absolute pain to get it absolutely smooth on the visor, which has to be flat for it to be applied nicely.

I'd recommend the Niteshades for ease of application, but if your visor hasn't been curved yet, go for the limo tint.
