I love you guys (The I Am Happy Thread)

Okay, I am having some deeps emotions right now, people.
I'm at a parent's friends' place right now, up on the top level of their house, sitting on my laptop in a big wide open room. Before, we went to go pick up the dinner, and while we were driving, I opened my laptop up and connected to the 3G to get onto TDC. It was at that moment, while we were driving through the quiet Brisbane suburbs at night, that I came to my realization. I love you guys. Each and every one of you. Now, I know, you, reading this, probably sitting hunched over a computer in broad daylight will have trouble understanding my current emotions, but yep. They're goin', son. They're goin'.

So we're driving, I'm on TDC, typing away. The city lights out the window, but not a sound outside. It's so nice. Just scrolling down the threads I'm like 'Awesome, awesome, you're awesome'..Basically you're just all really cool. We recorded the podcast and everything today, and I guess..talking to people from here using more than just text kind of made me realize how awesome this community is. It's all just awesome people. You know like, I made this song, had some problems with it, asked about it on here and boom, someone (needlessnoise) helps out and mixes the track for me. It's just great to be able to talk on a daily basis with a group of such kind, giving, like-minded people.

ifcjwwddeuhfd (however it's spelled) managed to go to frickin' Independance and see the locations from Electroma! I mean holy crap! That was amazing. I look through those photos all the time. To me, this community is so much more than a bunch of nerds speculating about two lazy frenchmen. I remember one night, listening to Alive 2007 for the 100th time (according to iTunes.) When it got to the encore, I ran upstairs to the computer, went on youtube and watched the cut together video of the bercy encore. I cried. It's just..wow. I've never seen Daft live, but if I ever do, I have no idea if I'll even be able to keep myself together. Thank you all for being here and making this place so amazing. There's a reason I'm on here 4 hours a day reading through all the old threads.

So this thread is the opposite of the 'Pissed Off Thread'. Here, talk about really awesome happy things that've happened, whether they're to do with the community or not.

We are a great little community. This is the only forum that I'm active on because it's the coolest. Thanks to this forum my knowledge of Daft Punk has significantly increased. I never would've known stuff like Indo Silver Club is actually a 2 part song or that Alive 1997 wasn't the whole live set (I could've probably guessed that one though).

But thanks to this forum I've also found a lot of other music that I like. I started listening to Justice, Digitalism, Boys Noize, SebastiAn and Deadmau5 all as a direct result of this forum and I continue to hear great new artists suggested in each thread.

Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming and, most importantly, hilarious.

In seriouslyness, I've been on tons of forums (mostly car forums), some I've been banned from (this was when I was younger and stupid, no worries), some I was never accepted into, some I just felt out of place at. This forum, I like it, I feel welcomed here, and it's great to see a bunch of other DP fans out there that are as big fans as I am. You guys and girls all give me lolz every day, and I enjoy coming back here. Plan to be on here for a long time, I do.

I really love this place too. It's just cool how sharing the same interest in one band can bring a ton of people together like this. Even though Daft Punk hasn't put anything new out recently we still manage to have fun here. Whole point is, I'm glad I signed up. I've learned so much in my time here and I still learn something new everyday!
