Canadian tour? Dude, I think it's fair to say that they should make a NORTH AMERICAN TOUR, EUROPEAN TOUR, ASIAN TOUR, SOUTH AMERICAN TOUR, and finally South Africa and Mexico.

I've always wanted to go to Glastonbury and now I have a good excuse to finally go! I hope their are some other decent acts going though.

Also, I'm writing the news article on this and I PM'ed Nik Strobe asking if I could use his stuff as evidence. He gave me the full conversation that actually tells us a bit more of what we can expect (Hope he won't mind me posting):

... @ Nik... The information is handed down to me from many of the organizers and their parties. From my understanding, the tour they will be having is HUGE. The European summer music festival leg of it, is simply an excercise they will be
having. Danmark, Norway, Britain and Spain, usually get the top 3 headliners, therefore, I have no doubt that the info is accurate, at any length, remember Mr. Bishop... SUBJECT MAY CHANGE WITHOUT WARNING/NOTICE, meaning they hold every right to change it. Ultimately, I really hope you get to see them, they really are amazing as a live show, I'll be ready with my camera. Blessings and light... FREEDOM FOREVER...

@ your service Nik, but yo, I promise to keep you updated. Also, from those "in the know," they (DP) will be doing a Stadium tour and supposedly, they have a MASSIVE surprise as their opening bands. It is a rumor, but, The Prodigy and or possibly Underworld are told to be the likely openers, we shall see... Be well mate...

The Prodigy would be a cool opening act but I think it's unlikely that it's them (They're normally the headline of their shows). The fact that he said "MASSIVE" to me could imply a number of things:

- A band that's re-grouped
- A band that's very popular
- A band that you wouldn't imagine to be touring with Daft Punk
- A band that they know everyone's going to love
- One of Daft Punk's influences
- They could be dropping a less than subtle hint that it's Massive Attack

Well this does seem a bit more legitmate than other rumours we've heard recently. This guy has details. And he's not just trolling, he actually cares..And he's putting his name to it. So unless he's the one being trolled then..I don't know.
