Dog Blood (Skrillex & Boys Noize Side Project)

Don't think there is a Dog Blood thread already.

Dog Blood is a collaboration between Skrillex and Boys Noize. They've released a 2 song EP titled Next Order/Middle Finger, but have plans for another release and worked in the studio on new material recently (Skrillex premiered one of the songs during his Nest ustream party). They are also rumoured to have a remix on the Defiant Order remix album, though this is only speculation (listen to one of the Skrillex unreleased remixes on the Ghetto Bird Mix).

Boys Noize is gettin' around with the collabs. It's certainly what I'd expect a Skrillex/BN collab to sound like, although it seems to lean pretty heavily toward BN's style and sound (especially "Next Order").

Agreed - though Skrillex seems to have shifted his style again recently to include more trap and techno influence.

Something noteworthy: I believe it first took place in BN studio and/or home.

    Anyway, I love Dog Blood.

Something else noteworthy: They're signed to Boysnoize Records, OWSLA, and Big Beat.

I also love Dog Blood, you can hear the sounds of them so good in this collab, I really hope they release at least two more EPs

And what happened to that Set they made for NYE together? Has someone a link to it?

There are only links to parts of their sets at the moment. By the sounds of the IDs I think that a new DB release is coming our way soon.

If anyone finds any other links/videos of that set (which was their first ever set), make sure to post them here.

It's a Birdy Nam Nam song remixed by Skrillex, then reappropriated (by Skrillex) for A$AP, then remixed by Skrillex (and BN).

This is the 4th iteration of the song :P

I have fun short mixes that you will probably like right here
