    I'm pretty sure it's fake.

Then again I don't know, WHAT IS GOING ON?

But the vocoding is very distinctive of Daft Punk, and feels very real.

Well that's definitely Jay-Z's voice, where could the lyrics be taken from otherwise? That's what I want to know.

The backing track seems to be a cut-up version of "Son Of Flynn" (albeit a well-executed one), the vocoders sound several notches above the usual novice attempts at "Daft Punk vocals" but still not entirely non-fake, and I can't speak to the Jay-Z section - might need to hit up Kanyetothe for that, at great risk to my reputation there (oh no, my reputation on a Kanye West forum...)

The vocals sound like they have a 'forced' french accent. It sounds like a cross between HBFS, HAA (the album) and RAM vocoders. I agree with Champiness on the idea that it could have a chopped-up version of Son of Flynn behind it.

"I got an iTouch, but I can't feel"

That line is weird to me. It makes me think it was made before 2010 or something because I honestly haven't heard much references to the iTouch being used in the last few years.

What if this was one of the demos DP made with computers? What if it was songs like these that made them want to switch to real instruments?

I like this idea. It definitely seems the most sensible. I'm gonna say this was probably made in 2008-9-10-11 or so, probably with just the Modcan synth they used and Ableton. It's pretty basic.
If this is real, that is.

Re: Unofficial & not released "Computerized" with Jay-z

Damn, I don't know. Like Champiness pointed out, it is in fact a mashed up version of Son of Flynn. That and the real Son of Flynn are practically identical in sound. The vocoding is pretty convincible but idk, if someone can see if the lyrics in that clip are in another Jay Z song then it's definitely a fake. Wouldn't surprise me that either Jay Z or Thomas/Guy thought about collaborating with one another at one point. Ya know with JZ sorta being the musical father of Kanye who they worked with.
