kind of seems like it, but it's a record label, i don't think he's avoiding other countries, he just kind of started with the people he knew, and wants to really work with them.

I know Busy P is the manager of Daft Punk and in charge of Ed Banger records

Yeah Busy P a.k.a Pedro Winter is DP's manager. Some tracks to check from the Ed crew is "Waters of Nazareth", "D.A.N.C.E.", "Phantom" all by Justice. "Ross,Ross,Ross" by SebastiAn,, and "Rainbow Man" by BusyP. It's either on their myspaces that have been posted prior or elsewhere on the internet, if you can't find a link, I'll try to find some for you.

I ordered Ed Rec Vol 2. online last week, and it comes with a free vinyl of SebastiAn edits and other bonus track signed by the whole Ed Banger crew.
So I should be receiving one of these soon:
