the best thing that i realized about streets was when boutboulman came to visit a few years ago and i was giving him a tour of the city. he suddenly looked up and yelled 'DON'T BLOCK THE BOX!' in his awesome british accent. i wtf-ed until he pointed out this sign next to an intersection that said that and it was only after he pointed it out that i noticed it on literally EVERY intersection in the entire city.

i'd much rather take roundabouts over intersections.

more work, but better holidays. month and half between semesters or 3 months between years, or that's what my uni is like anyway.
