In that Daft Punk Essential Mix thing, they did a Beastie Boys VS. one of their remixes...I can't remember what it was, though. I'll try to find it.

That track doesn't have anything to do with Daft Punk (well not that much anyways). It's a white label mash-up of the Beastie Boys and Alan Braxe' Vertigo (in the Virgo edit). It's been played by Daft Punk in almost all sets during their dj tour.

20th Jun 2007, 22:42 #24For people remixing DP, in my opinion, SebastiAn's HAA remix is better =D
Balboa's remix of Technologic is pretty good also, IMO

20th Jun 2007, 23:09 #25The digitalism remix of Technologic is the main bomb from the HAA era (though I made a shorter edit of it myself, so it doesn't really count as an original remix). I also really like the Le Knight Club (Eric Chedeville) remix of Technologic, though many ppl disliked it I'm just a too big fan of Crydamoure to not like it. Unfortunately I never been able to find a high quality version of it, though the added guitar loop and the typical LKC beat is already enough to prefer it over the original.
As for all time remixes I'd go with the Armand van Helden remix/version of Da Funk. That one is just so brilliant sampling that old Tata Vega record.
23rd Jun 2007, 20:12 #26Like, you guyz care about the remixes right?
On the older Maxi-singles (around the world, revo 909, burnin' , da funk, etc. are really nice remixes, but they aren't made by Daft Punk... got alot of those remixes.
Edit: check the photo, some of those maxi singles are visualised there. For better picture, add me on hotmail ...A good student will always teach the teacher!
