Here's how I found the samples for The Cobalt EP. For several songs, I chose a house artist that I really liked (say, Le Knight Club), listened to a song I really liked (say, Hysteria), and then I looked up the sample (Change - Miracles), and then cruised through other songs by Change. Excellent band. Through this method, I created Get It Right.

Also, go to Wikipedia and look for Funk Musicians, pick a band, YouTube them, and you'll find a sample.

Through this method, I actually found a lot of great bands. The Brothers Johnson, Change, ELO, etc.

But that's just how I find samples. I also used Boba's method of cruising through related videos on YouTube, but I never actually thought to check the library for music.

My library has TONS of Jazz, Blues, and Soul. Perfect for sampling, if that sort of stuff inspires you.

I'll do that guys. Thanks. My brother has a bunch of jazz music. I have too much punk rock music.

That song is incredible. When it comes to house, I consider you probably one of the best artists on thedaftclub.com. Wow.

I don't care for your hip hop tracks much, but that's just me.

I just uploaded my newest song and it'll be the last one that I post before my new CD comes out.
