I could have sworn we've covered this a thousand times.. It's "Something's in the air"
[/quote1238865454]
which makes me feel like we should put that FACT somewhere official and permanent so we don't get bombarded with even more thousands of questions from future members who insist differently.
"I love the sound of my speakers dying for the sake of my music."

22nd Apr 2009, 15:49 #342In Face To Face I always hear: Mr. Flirt now, because one of my friends said she heard that. It doesn't makes sense, haha!

3rd Jul 2009, 17:31 #344i know this is kinda old, but i was skimming through the pages and nobody seems to agree on superheros (i'm not even gonna touch high life). i was listening to it on Alive and i hear "come through the air." i know the lyrics to the song are something in the air, but maybe they tweeked it or something, i dont know. heres a link to the song, just in case http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKnoPM0g-rA

3rd Jul 2009, 18:11 #346touche. but i was just going by what i thought i heard at alive and on discovery. when i listen to Superheroes and compare it to Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed, they sound different to me. Maybe its because there's more noise on Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed and I've just never noticed, literally until now.
3rd Jul 2009, 22:13 #347let me just say that moving on to another song/subject now would be a wise idea. you have no idea how many times this has turned into an argument and how many threads we have locked, because to put it simply, we're tired of talking about it.
which is why i've locked and stickied this thread.
to quote the linear notes of DISCOVERY:SUPERHEROES
(T. Bangalter - G-M de Homem-Christo -
B. Manilow - M. Panzer)
instrumental
Zomba Songs Inc. (BMI)
Contains a sample of "Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed"
written by Barry Manilow & Marty Panzer, published by Kamakazi
Music Corp. (BMI) and Swaneebravo Music, administered by
Careers-BMG Music Publishing (BMI), performed by Barry
Manilow, used with permission of Arista Records.so basically i busted my CD off of the shelf, opened it up, took out the booklet/art, and painstakingly typed that up just to say that, yes "Superheroes" samples "Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed," so yes the lyrics are "something's in the air." hear/sing/say whatever you like, but those are the actual lyrics.
(sorry if that's kind of an... annoying(?) response, but the topic has become something of a pet peeve among the mods/admins/general tdc populace. personally, i would be inclined to sing "love is in the air," but i won't argue to say that's what the lyric is.)
continue discussing misheard lyrics, but lay off the Superheroes a bit, mkay?
"Funky fun"
