Rep:
What is house, french house and electronic(a)
31st May 2008, 11:18 #1I've always wondered about it... some of you may thing I'm stupid for asking, but what is house? I always though it was more Le Knight Club and Stardust'ish, but when people said that Homework was 100% house, I got confused. I felt that Rollin' and Schratchin' was more electronica than house.. but Around The World was quit house for me. But then I learn that french house is like LKC and Stardust, and that house is Homework, but then, what is electronica?
My opnion was always that house/french house was more relaxed and very repetative, such as "Music Sounds Better With You" and "Around the World".
I would be very happy if some one here can sort it out for me (:
And the question is also:
Which genre is Daft Punk?
31st May 2008, 13:01 #2DP are pretty much undefinable

But they could be everything. They innovate and are open-minded to other genres.
