Help, forum dates messed up!

I dunno what I'm doing wrong but the posts on forums are not arranged by date at all.. Just realized this today. Did I press something? It'll go from march 2007 to feb 2008 to Jan 2010, back to May 2008.... I'm so confused I've probably been replying to 2 year old posts because they showed up last and the thread is bumped to the top... the post that was done that day is somewhere in the middle of the forum for some reason.

Whats going on?

That may be because of the change of platform that was done to the forum a few months ago.

You see, we now run vBulletin type forums. Back in those dates, we didn't.
When we changed, most of the codes and bbCode used for links, quotes and images changed, so it all got a bit messy. So, its not surprising.

But perhaps its because of the new subforums that were added a few weeks ago. (General Music, Your Music, etc...)
The mods had to change the threads from the main forum to their respective subforum which means that, even though the threads are in the first page, they maybe a couple years old.

When you open a thread, look at the date of the latest post. If its more than, say, 6 months old, avoid posting in it.

Edit: Also, if you have any questions related to the forum itself, post the thread in "The Site" forum.

amq, i haven't seen any posts where the date has been messed up, i think instead it might be a CP setting that she may have changed.

Whispy, from your description, i am having a hard time understanding what you mean. maybe if you could try explaining it again or taking some screenshots, i could help you a little better.

however, amq is right, this does belong in The Site.

I've been looking at the "join date" which is in the top right corner of the post; traditionally where the post time/date is put. Sorry! xD
