The synth part is similar, but I doubt theres any connection tbh.
Actually they're not even THAT similar, unless I'm not hearing it right in Hi friend. Just the same kinda sound.
Also, I just noticed, why does 'edit your friends' sound like he's sampled a pigeon? lol

I can hear it, but imo its unlikely mau5 actually took the synth from that song. Doesn't go on for too long.
Also i looked up the Encyclopedia Dramatica page for Deadmau5...lol

at this rate, 32nd docember.
@Stranger, nah, he didn't just start, before this tour he already made some songs like some chords and cthulhu sleeps that should be on his new album...however i think he's doing some more casual work on it now he's coming to the end of his tour.
