Does anybody else play instruments? I play/have played electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboard/synth/piano. Mang I'd like a drumkit. But I like my synth even more.

I took piano lessons for 2 summers (5 months in total) about 10 years ago, but I've forgotten how to play since then.

Q1 re: Dark's been using Ableton.
Q2 re: I always heard Ableton was hard as hell, never tried acoustica.

Acoustica Mixcraft is very easy to use. You'll need Acoustica Beatcraft to make your own beats though.

I play clarinet, a bit of piano (more geared toward keyboarding than pianoing), recorder, occarina, a little bit of indian flute, and I'm trying to pick up the bass and tenor sax.

Warbeats.com
I have linked you to the "Tutorials" section of the website. NFX, the guy who runs the site, has a bunch of videos that show you how to do a LOT of things in FL Studio. They really helped me out.
16th Sep 2008, 21:36 #25I may have to take a look. FL just kinda blew my mind to smithereens at first glance.

Me too! When I first got it a few months back, I was totally overwhelmed. But I saw one of NFX's videos on YouTube, so I went to his website and now I can make music good enough to be on RAA and TDDC. All in a few months and all thanks to Warbeats.
I sound like I'm trying to advertise it XD. I'm not really, I'm just trying to get across how much these videos helped me.
16th Sep 2008, 22:10 #29I'm kinda impatient when it comes to learning software... I figured out sony acid in about an hour. That made me happy. FL took me 3 hours to figure out how to put a note on the screen. Me = not happy.

Yeah. I got FL, i uninstalled it 30 minutes later because i couldnt find where the hell do you put a song in it. (which i still dont) Traktor was so confusing with all the abbreviations i took it out 15 minutes in my 1 hour trial.
Acoustica and VDJ are the only ones ive managed to figure out nicely.DAMN IT! That is such a good idea!
