I used to think this music was cheerful... until I saw the video.
But really the video is pure gold, I mean it's so freakish, and the skinned girl looks so real. Plus she is almost a banana, just look at the way she pulls out her skin and you'll know what I mean.

Lol banana. I totally know what you mean.

One thing I don't understand about the video is why they choose a song that seems to have a pretty uplifting message (like you said^) and then pair it with a video that obviously isn't quite as uplifting.. Not saying I dislike the video, (because I don't) just saying that the video + song = ??? in my mind.

hmm. i never thought the song itself was very uplifting. until i got used to it, it was always just a bit creepy. so the video didnt surprise me. i guess its basically just 'live your life to the fullest, because this is what can happen if you screw it up...'

Yea.. okay, so uplifting isn't the right word to describe it. It's more like .. I don't know, it has a good message. Carpe diem and all that. Which is why I thought it was strange that a song saying to enjoy life to the full has a video about suicide, you know?
But either way, I like your take on it aria. Never really considered that. (Which I can't believe. Now it seems kind of obvious. xD )

It's like my favorite Daft Punk song!

I absolutely love the voice that says "Prime Time of Your Life" it just sounds really powerful. IDK, that's the best way I can think to describe it.

I think the real message is: Enjoy your life, you are not a banana

haha totally agree .. at first, this song sounded like something like .. someone throwing up I think the video has something to do, if you hear either the beginning and I like In alive 07.. the vocals are awesome!
