    UNFINISHED Thomas Helmets For Sale

So I have a couple of Thomas helmets that I dont have a desire to finish.

The first wasn't made by me, I purchased it from a guy on cosplay.com but I have lost interest in my original costume concept. It is resin cast with fiberglass supporting it. It does come with a tinted visor that has been cut to fit (not photographed) The one nice thing about this helmet is it is VERY STRONG! Lots of layers of fiberglass sees to that.

The second was made by me about a year ago. The base is a baseball helmet while the front 'face' is made from Bristol board with 3-4 layers of fiberglass supporting it on the outside and the inside of the helmet. The 'ears' are clear plastic with a soda can base for the centers. I spaced out the can part so that if you light it up from the inside you'll have the light circle around the ears like the real helmet did during the discovery period. The other reason I made the ears out of clear plastic was so you could tape off a portion and paint the rest and it would be easier to light up. This helmet is also very strong. As you can see from the photos I started sanding the bondo off it but lost interest in it. So all you'll have to do for this one is sand..sand...sand...and cut a visor to fit.

the first one wasn't made by me...the second one still needed to be sanded. But from previous experience of making helmets...I'd recommend starting with a 110 grit and working you way up to a 600 grit wetsand.
