Hi All, I've been looking at making a Guy-man helmet but have'nt had time to mess about with it all. I've created a 3D model using Solid Edge and am planning to have a 3D prototype made. I can then make some casts from it. What do you think of it so far?

Um, I'm probably not the best person to judge, but it looks pretty darn good.

    Great minds think alike:

Just had that printed at like 1/15 scale. I'm thinking of having this done full size by Shapeways, same guys that did the mini bust. It's not cheap by any stretch, but still the cheapest option out there shy of owning the machine or having one at work.

Looks really good. I don't see anything wrong with it; although the second image made me realize the there is a wicked slant across the bototm of the helmet. I always thought it kind of fit on like an upside down U. But hey, we all learn something new every day, right?

Nice work. I think the casts will work well.

Do you have any experience animating / rigging in max as well?
