Remove this ad: become a supporter
I have the inspiration to make music ( electronic, dance, hardstyle )
    I have he tools, ( fl studio 9.1 )
    and I have the motivation...

But when I open up fruity loops, I either can't find good samples, or figure out how I am going to do a certain plan of mine..

I'm not trying to be a big dj or anything, it's just I have some good bets that playthrough my head , and I want to execute them..

    Any help guys?
    New programs?
    Samples, etc..

    Thanks guys!!

It takes time to fully understand the concept of music. Some are lucky and some are naturals. Others take months and even years to fully understand the concept of music. Ask any music artist or graphic artists here, they didn't make cool sounding or looking things the first time, it took time, ALOT of time. Hell, even Daft Punk took time. Darlin' failed and The New Wave wasn't too great to be honest. It took them 5 years to make their first album and four years in between the rest. Just take your time and don't try to make an amazing song right off the bat, take your time.

FL Studio's default sound ****ing suck. Besides a few in the Legacy Pack.
Try buying some different samples, I use Deadmau5's Xfer Sample Pack and Vengeance Essential House Vol. 3.

Any of the Vengeance Packs are good for the genre specified.

Music isn't something that comes naturally to everyone. It's my God-given talent, though. Remixes are poor for me because I have a heck of a tough time working with what someone else already made. And Ableton. I don't like it.

Of my two primary music programs, FL Studio is the one I prefer, because live sets will be easy to create for the tracks from it. Reason 5 is my other, and I use it when I'm feeling daring.
Come listen to my music! I DEMAND IT! (It's free)

agreed, most of the FL studio default sounds are horrible.
but even then you can create some quick melodies using the native vsts.

There's enough stuff in Fruity Loops, you just need to use your imagination. Make anything, any genre it doesn't matter. It's harder at first to go for a certain genre.

I'm on the same boat as you TC, have a bunch of great ideas in my head but can't seem to execute it yet. Guess, we just both need practice is all. Hope it doesn't take to long lol.

They don't sound horrible if you tweak them. And make your own sounds.
But of course it's better to use hardware synths.
