    Daft Punk: Tron Legacy costumes!

    Hey all! Me and my friend decided to make the costumes that Daft Punk wear in the new Tron movie We havent installed the electronics for our helmets yet and attached the EL wire and taping for the costumes, but here are some shots that our friend took of us

    The helmets are a bit rough (and Guy Manuel's is silver in Tron Legacy!) but I'm impressed with the outfits. Sure they're not tight leather but without spending crazy amounts of money nobody would go that far. Nice work! Any pics with the EL wire turned on?

    Yeah, we're still improving on the helmets. Decided to make my Guy Man helmet gold so that I could use it for another Daft Punk costume. This was our first time doing vacforming as well! We haven't sewn the EL wire into these outfits yet cause there are still a few details missing and some parts that need to be fixed.

    Yeah, the clothes are a bit baggy as we only managed to finish them the afternoon before this shoot. Gonna fix them up for December so we can wear them at the premier

    The grey material we used is actually full of the little holes like in the real jackets. It's some weird microfibre cloth that we found in a t-shirt shop. Apparently it's used for jerseys to allow for ventilation and stuff. You cant really see the holes in the pictures though
