    Starting DJ Decks

I was wondering what you guys would recommend for a starter DJ as far as decks are concerned. I have a limit of $200, I already have a Roland MC-808 with MIDI Keyboard and all the amps you could ever want.

Do you prefer vinyl, cd or midi?

But according to your budget it will be midi I guess.

If you prefer vinyl save some money for some 1200s as they are well worth the money and you'll only ever need to buy one pair. Not too sure about midi controllers and to be honest it's a **** way to dj as it takes no skill to do it. If you consider cdjs go for two pioneer 400s and a 2-channel mixer of your choice.

If you have some decent cd players with a bpm counter, matching ang cueing is almost as easy as syncing.

    You seriously don't need one.
